Counselor-in-Training Program
A Certificate Program for Young Leaders

Counselor in Training (CIT) program:

Are you a rising 6th, 7th, 8th or 9th grader? Ages 11-14

CITs work with their instructor and a skilled intern as a group of up to five to learn leadership skills, build community, and get to know our unique outdoor program in a new way.

Mondays and Wednesdays are in the field all day. Tuesdays and Thursdays mornings assist with activities with the younger camps, and afternoons are back in the field.

$225 per week. Week of July 4th: $170. Monday - Thursday 7:45 - 3:15. CITs and Interns are eligible to lead activities for Camp Cool-down from 3:15 - 5pm upon approval. There is no cost for aftercare.
Counselor Internship:

Are you a rising 10th or 11th grader? Ages 15-16

Volunteer for up to 4 weeks each summer with our camp programs.

Interns work closely with our seasonal staff instructors to collaboratively lead groups of campers during songs, games, hikes, and activities.

This an unpaid internship.
